Manic Monday

Well, here I am again, blogging of what about, what has been or what will be. Anyway, yesterday was quite busy and hectic. As one of my friends said, "Pahinga ka naman, baka magkasakit ka" (Take a rest, you might get sick). FYI: Before this manic Monday, I was in a 3-day seminar last week from Wednesday to Friday in UP ITTC. I thought it would be a good time-off, and it was. Well, so I thought.

Coming back to my office yesterday morning was, ugh, quite pleasant (for I will meet my students again and hear them laugh and smell them stink, hehe, in my office) and, ugh,waaaaaahhh!!! really!!! For I have a lot of things left to do, I have a pile of DVDs on my table for evaluation, I was being looked for by teachers first thing in the morning for they will borrow materials for their classes, I was phoned by my boss telling me about our meeting in the afternoon, I was re-checking the LRC Newsletter, getting it ready for distribution, and UGH, I was quite anxious for in that meeting, I know, I know that it will be a tough situation if I will get in or be booted out of this institution. It was like the finals night of American Idol. *tug-dugsh* *tug-dugsh* I was quite confident, though. For even if I wouldn't be re-hired, at least I would leave a mark, maybe not in the institution per se, but more with my colleagues (I hope).

And so the monthly report was done, I also prepared a reconfiguration design of my chart shelves to better accommodate my charts and maximize my space. In addition, I prepared a better floor plan for my library to make it more spacious, so that next year, it would be comfier for students to get into my (or his/her -- if that would be the case) office and sit and play around. I, then submitted them to my boss and I am still waiting for an update from her.

Well, the meeting went smooth. We prepared our Annual Action Plan (assuming I would still be here) for the next School Year 2010-2011. We anchored activities for each month, and of course the good side of the meeting: merienda, ayt Sir Ian? haha!

Well, that's how it all happened yesterday, and right now, I am preparing yet another paper: a Project Proposal, which I would really love to submit in our meeting (again) later. That would be my update for now.
